Safety and survival solutions provider Survitec is to exhibit its latest range of emergency response safety products at ESS 2017 at Birmingham’s NEC from September 20th to 21st.

Taking centre stage will be the pioneering Crewsaver Crewfit XD workvest lifejacket in a fire retardant option, an efficient choice for rescue workers, welders and anyone that may need protecting from sparks and embers. The Crewfit XD Fire Retardant lifejacket will be available in both 150N and 275N bladder sizes, Hammar automatic and manual inflation options and harness and non-harness attachment. The modular design of the Crewsaver workvest creates a comprehensive lifejacket range that includes a choice of covers, inflation types and harness options to allow the buyer to cater for their individual workforce requirements with ease.

Survitec will also introduce the new SONICS CBRN Bio-Skin suit, a lightweight, discrete and breathable stretch fabric with a unique design that offers exceptional mobility, comfort and protection in a CBRN environment. The Bio-Skin is worn close to skin under any uniform and offers the wearer significant weight/bulk, thermal, comfort and protective advances over traditional carbon based materials. Also on display will be the SONICS MilPod, a specialist man portable stretcher used for extraction and treatment of a casualty that has been injured or contaminated in a CBRN environment. The system ensures the first responder team, aircraft or vehicle used for the extraction are not contaminated.

Visitors to the Survitec stand (C73) will also be able to see the latest range of Crewsaver lifejackets, survival suit technology, buoyancy aids and emergency rescue equipment. In addition to the fire & rescue service, Survitec’s products will be of particular interest and relevance to the Police, Search and Rescue teams other frontline emergency services.
