Survitec launched a new type of life preserver, the Micro Life Preserver Unit (LPU), compatible with torso harnesses worn by U.S. pilots at the WEPTAC Show at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas. The Micro LPU is manufactured as an alternative to the LPU-38P and features a low profile stole with high performance capabilities. Attendees of WEPTAC were asked to try on the life preserver in exchange for their feedback.
