<p>The Combat Helicopter Life Preserver (CBLP) is a load carriage and protection (LCP) system designed for use on rotary wing aircraft in warm climate and sand environments. The CBLP consists of an inherently flame retardant customisable waistcoat that facilitates bespoke pocket configuration to suit individual preference or operating requirements. This includes mission critical equipment such as Short-Term Air Supply System (STASS), weapons, ammunition, survival aids and beacons. In addition the CBLP can accommodate front/rear soft and hard armour and a slim, low profile inflatable stole with multiple buoyancy options. The CBLP has been designed with a strong focus on thermal comfort, ergonomic protection, intelligent flotation and true modularity to ensure optimum safety, survival and combat performance for front and rear aircrew.</p>
