Florian's reflection on his Survitec journey
Where he began and where he is now
Florian Duqueyroix is one of our Technical Sales Managers for liferafts and rescue boats based in Chevanceaux, France.
In 2016, Florian joined the business in our Sales Department on a two-month internship, recruited by our Product Category Manager, Marc Guillonneau.
Florian gained vital experience and had an opportunity to combine his business studies course with work at Survitec. Three years later, with a bachelor’s and master’s degree, he joined Survitec full-time as Area Sales Manager.
As Area Sales Manager for France and Switzerland, he worked closely with the French Navy, discovering new opportunities, growing his skillset, and taking on new challenges.
He now works in our Commercial Team. Florian gained vital knowledge of the product and market within his previous roles to enable him to make strategies and plans involving the products we supply to customers.
Florian maintains frequent collaboration with many business areas to ensure he formulates product offers in line with our customers’ requirements. He thanks all those who help him day to day.
Focusing on delivering high value to our customers is one of his key priorities. He aims to answer questions positively and find a win-win solution. The most rewarding feeling comes from the satisfaction he receives when helping or solving a customer or colleague's issue.
Florian also values opportunities to represent Survitec at events or customer meetings. Visiting customers is critical to efficiently developing the business. It’s also a valuable opportunity to understand the continually evolving market. Through these moments, he further enhances his technical, commercial, and sales knowledge, allowing him to gain more credibility and confidence.
