Robert Singletary's career success after just one year
Our people make the difference
Robert joined Survitec over a year ago as a Liferaft Apprentice Technician based in our Houston site in Texas.
Working alongside his colleagues, Robert carries out the service process, from start to finish, for both annual and extended service liferafts.
He’s volunteered numerous times to help with delivering these liferafts directly to our customers. This allows him better understand customer needs beyond servicing.
Before joining Survitec, Robert volunteered as a firefighter for Alvin Volunteer Department in Texas. He’s a forward thinker and highly efficient problem solver. Robert has an excellent mechanical aptitude, experience in quality control and special equipment used to measure static pressure.
Robert strives to do better than the day before. He’s assisting in training a new member of the team servicing liferafts, and whilst this is a challenge, he knows he can help his new colleague learn from his own experiences.
Roberts enjoys the community aspect of his role and the relationships he has built with his close colleagues. They have worked alongside each other for some time, and he believes it has helped his team to become very efficient and highly productive. He takes pride in knowing he carries out technician duties daily.
Robert views Survitec as a family built on trust and determination and one that allows our customers to get the service they need when they need it.
He loves the freedom of diversity and believes that our ability to collaborate from all backgrounds helps tremendously. We are diverse in our ability to problem-solve.
Robert is proud to have developed significantly since joining Survitec. He believes you should join Survitec if you’re looking for a place that provides career and advancement opportunities alongside several benefits. Robert knows at Survitec, our people make the difference.
