Our 50-person option is ideal for use with the Survitec slide-based Marine Evacuation Systems (MES). The 100-person option consists of two 50-person liferafts packed in the same container and connected for maximum capacity.

Our 50-person option is ideal for use with the Survitec slide based Marine Evacuation Systems (MES). The 100-person option consists of two 50-person liferafts packed in the same container and connected for maximum capacity. This liferaft conforms to resolution MSC.81 (70) of the IMO and meets ISO 15738:2002 (MED) (JG) (TC) ocean safety specifications. These meet the requirements in gas inflation systems for inflatable lifesaving equipment.

Two super-imposed buoyancy chambers provide a high freeboard
Available in 50 and 100-person options to suit your vessels needs
Self-erecting canopy, easily operated by a shuttle-like action provided by its own buoyancy
Suspended floor in between two buoyancy chambers for increased passenger comfort
Robust weather protection provided by a canopy regardless of the liferaft deployment method
Manufactured using corrosion and abrasion-resistant polyurethane-coated fabric for longevity
Each liferaft is furnished with boarding facilities. These include; external and internal lighting, lifelines, a drogue (sea anchor), a rescue line and quoit and other necessary safety equipment
Inflatable reversible boarding ramp for quick and easy access

How long does it take to service my liferaft?

Liferaft servicing can typically take 24 - 48 hours. If your time in Port is limited, our RaftXChange exchange programme is a great option to consider as a speedy alternative. This programme allows you to swap the liferaft that is due for service with an identical one that has already been serviced and recertified (certificates for 12 or 30 months, depending on the liferaft type). This solution is available through both local and global Liferaft Rental programmes.

Do you have deployment instructions for my liferaft?

Yes. We have deployment instructions for each type of liferaft. These are sent out with each new liferaft, as well as additional copies being available on request.

Where do I get a due date list for the lifed items inside my liferaft?

The various lifed items integral to your liferaft will have varying due dates. The documentation detailing the due date for each lifed item is available by speaking to your local Survitec representative from Customer Services or your Survitec account manager.
