Survitec to showcase safety & survival solutions at Offshore Europe 2017
Safety and survival solutions provider Survitec Group will host a stand at this year's Offshore Europe exhibition, from 5th-8th September 2017, in Aberdeen. The exhibition aims to promote its wide range of safety products and services for the offshore energy market. The Survitec team will be on hand to answer all enquiries in Hall 1, stand 1D56, offering their extensive portfolio of safety products for offshore platforms, drilling vessels, supply ships and crew transfer boats. Survitec is uniquely placed to provide a complete offering to its customers working offshore.
Taking centre stage will be the latest 1000 Series Offshore Wind Energy Suit, which has been designed and manufactured in the UK, specifically for the offshore renewable energy industry. The key advantage for offshore operators is that they only need to invest in one transportation survival suit as it provides the ultimate protection for those travelling over water, including multiple wearer options, with both MED and ETSO approvals for transfers by helicopter or boat.
The new Survitec Tri - approved survival suit is also CE-PPE compliant to ISO 15027:2012, available as an immersion suit with fully integrated thermal liner or alternatively as an uninsulated (2 hour) suit designed specifically for marine use. A separate thermal liner is available for variable marine and aviation uses when worn with the uninsulated suit to satisfy EASA/ETSO 2C503 Aviation approval.
Survitec is a leading provider of lifejackets, survival suits and ancillary products in addition to its SOLAS approved liferafts, lifeboats and Offshore Marine Evacuation Systems. The range includes everything from rescue boats, distress flares, deck cradles, rescue lines, lifebuoys and fire fighting equipment through to intrinsically safe lifejacket and lifebuoy lights for use in areas with potentially explosive atmospheres.
Best known for its marine safety equipment and aviation survival technology, Survitec Group's wide-ranging capability also extends to fibre and wire rope, lifting and rigging equipment, inspection services, power tooling and height safety solutions to support the offshore energy market.
Jim Cook (Sales Director Energy, Aviation and Industrial) said: “We are looking forward to attending this year’s Offshore Europe exhibition. It’s a great chance to meet clients new and old while demonstrating our expanding portfolio of safety solutions and capabilities.”
