We are delighted to announce that Moya Johnson, Managing Director of Dunmurry and Vice President of OEM Manufacturing has received an MBE for her services to Economic Development in Northern Ireland. The Queen’s Birthday Honours lists 2017 recognise the achievements of a wide range of extraordinary people from across the UK.
Throughout Moya’s eight years as Managing Director for the Survitec Dunmurry site, her commitment to the site and its employees has been unquestionable. Her holistic approach to the business has ensured continued sales growth throughout a very difficult recession, whilst being able to address the operational efficiencies required to remain competitive in a very tough market. Her relaxed and personable management style ensures a very open and honest working environment, and has earned her an enormous amount of respect from her senior management team through to office and factory employees.
Brian M Stinger, CEO Survitec said, “We are delighted that our very own Moya has attained this amazing honour, it is Moya’s steely determination and hard work that has won her this award. Please join me in warmly congratulating her on this fantastic achievement.”
Moya Johnston joined Survitec Group (then known as RFD Ltd) in 1986 as a Management Accountant. Having spent the next 15+ years assisting the business through a rapid and aggressive acquisition period, Moya was promoted to the role of Financial Director for the Dunmurry site. Since then Moya has been instrumental in growing the business.
In 2008, Moya was appointed Managing Director of the Dunmurry business, and, having implemented a number of operational efficiency changes to the business, made it the flagship manufacturing site for the Group.
