Barbaros takes immense pride in protecting lives

Husamettin Barbaros Gokhan is one of our Lead Service Technicians responsible for Service Operations in Turkey. With a passion for the maritime industry, Barbaros spent eight months onboard ships as part of his degree, leading him to graduate from Istanbul Piri Reis University.

Laura explains, "I was the first female technician at Survitec. I was determined to gain more certification and approvals to move on to bigger roles within the year." Eleven months later, an MES technician role became available, and Laura jumped at the opportunity.

Seven months into her role at Survitec, Rebecca is currently responsible for seeking opportunities to increase capacity in our aviation liferaft manufacturing and finding efficiencies in our lifejacket manufacturing, enabling us to exceed our customer requirements more efficiently and effectively.

Based in Barcelona, Spain, Miguel has over 21 years of experience working at Survitec. He started his career as a Liferaft Technician and worked up to his current position of Managing Director of Southern Europe. Miguel is another example, demonstrating a career in Survitec can be for life.
