Our purpose is clear – We Exist to Protect Lives.
Our diverse global workforce pledges to honour our purpose, every single day, as outlined in the Survitec Trust Pledge. Our people are our competitive advantage, and our strength lies in their differences.
We are committed to cultivating an inclusive culture where people feel valued, included, appreciated, and free to be themselves at work.
Why? Because we pledge to do the right thing.
MAKING A DIFFERENCE
Every action taken within the Survitec Diversity Network delivers aims to ensure we are a step further in becoming more diverse, equal and inclusive as a company, and embedding these principles in our culture. How we do this is outlined in our code of conduct. Better never stops. We will not stop in our pursuit of offering a diverse, equal and inclusive workplace - ensuring Survitec is the best place to work for every single one of us.
DE&I CODE OF CONDUCT
Meet our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion team
I believe the mutual understanding of culture and civilisation help with bonding the team. The DE&I team creates such a platform for people from all over the world.
To support our people, we can build on our wellbeing initiatives and provide opportunities for growth within the organisation with diverse talent and innovative ideas.
Someone’s desire to fit in, to be accepted and valued, is not always achieved. I joined the network to help others and to celebrate our differences.
Having been raised abroad amongst a multitude of countries, cultures, and ethnicities I am sensitive to everything which may be deemed ‘different’. As a lawyer, I am constantly fighting for equality.
Only when we promote a diverse workforce, have honest conversations and take key steps to help Survitec realise the full potential of its DE&I ambitions can our colleagues feel free to be their authentic selves.
I believe everyone who works for Survitec should feel equal and valued; for colleagues to feel that they are able to share their views; and for us all to have better understanding of each other.
I feel it is important to challenge the status quo and remove unconscious bias from the workplace so that we can bring other views and ideas on board, which is particularly important to improve future designs for the business.
I am committed to supporting all around the business, empowering those who feel their voice might not be heard. I’d like our workplace to be a warm and friendly environment and feel that real time should be dedicated to these efforts.
It's important people from all walks of life are able to identify as who they are without fear of racist, homophobia, or sexual prejudice. Our differences are what make us who we are, and we all deserve the same level of respect and acceptance.
It is important everyone is free to come to work as themselves no matter where in the world they're located they will be welcomed, supported and appreciated.
My passion for diversity and inclusion started in my previous job. I was so excited when I was given the opportunity to join Survitec’s DE&I team to work together and allow me to offer the best support to all my colleagues.
