The UK is due to leave the European Union on 29th March 2019 (“Brexit”). At this stage there is no certainty that an agreement will be reached between the UK and other EU member states for a transition period and future trading arrangements. We are therefore progressing our preparations for the possibility of a ‘no deal’ Brexit. Survitec is a global business with a global supply chain. We have significant operations in the UK and other EU member states and therefore recognise the challenges involved in preparing for a ‘no deal’ scenario.
We are well advanced in our preparations and are in the process of setting up the administrative, legal and IT solutions needed to operate effectively after Brexit. This is particularly relevant for our supply chain where we are also planning for delays at UK and EU ports due to increased customs checks and declarations. We will continue to work closely with our suppliers and customers over the coming period to minimise any disruption to the delivery of our products and services.
We are confident all the necessary arrangements we need to make will be in place by 29th March. If you have any further questions about our Brexit preparations, please email: firstname.lastname@example.org
