Miguel’s dedication for 21 years
From Liferaft Technician to Managing Director
Based in Barcelona, Spain, Miguel has over 21 years of experience at Survitec. He started as a Liferaft Technician and worked up to his current position of Managing Director of Southern Europe.
When he joined Survitec, Miguel assisted with our servicing process, including collecting and delivering equipment, servicing, maintenance, and quality control.
His role as a Liferaft Technician has helped him understand the customer's needs and how best to serve them. These are the skills he now utilises to succeed in his current role.
Before joining Survitec, Miguel studied administration. Whilst working for Survitec, he pursued further training, taking several courses to help him develop his role. He became General Manager before completing his Master's in Business Administration (MBA).
Miguel enjoys receiving recognition from customers for a job well done. He believes high-level teamwork is critical to reaching positive satisfaction levels, and hearing positive feedback means a high level of alignment exists.
Today, he enjoys setting strategic plans for the company and helping us find efficient and valuable work. Through analysing financial data, we can provide fair labour environments for our colleagues, and Miguel hopes he can help others find opportunities to grow as he did.
