Survitec is pleased to announce it will be attending IMPA London 2018 on the 11th – 12th September. IMPA London is a world-leading exhibition for maritime purchasing and supply chain professionals, thus presenting an excellent opportunity to gain an insight to the recently launched SOLAS 360.

Marine purchasing professionals continue to be challenged to achieve cost efficiencies and savings, as well as working towards value chain collaboration with strategic suppliers. Survitec recognises the need to create collaborative platforms between customer and supplier and has advanced its efforts in this area through the introduction of SOLAS360.

Whilst focused on keeping vessels safe and compliant through the ability to support all SOLAS safety needs, there is also the emphasis on simplification of procuring and managing safety services. By mapping and proactively managing due-dates on all safety equipment, Survitec can reduce risk and provide high quality products and services at an affordable cost. It also enables procurement professionals to improve spend management over the medium term by providing fixed, predictable pricing models. Furthermore, SOLAS 360 aims to reduce operational burden and therefore several provisions have been put in place to make sure the overall supply and service of safety equipment is as easy and efficient as possible.

Ross Wilkinson, Regional Sales Director commented “Survitec has embraced the task of improving maritime safety, working with customers to understand current challenges, how we can improve operational safety and streamline the procurement of safety equipment and services.  Offering service completion guarantee, fixed, predictable pricing models and dedicated global support, Survitec are here to help with your total safety requirements.” The SOLAS360 offering covers an operator’s safety equipment needs throughout Fire, rescue and safety service; liferaft rental; lifeboat inspections and servicing of safety products. “Bringing all aspects into one, SOLAS 360 simplifies the procurement of safety equipment making purchasing and supply easier.” He added.
