Survitec has consolidated its ongoing relationship with the Confederation of British Industry (CBI), by briefing Director-General Carolyn Fairbairn on its future growth plans and attending the Survitec installation at the CBI offices.

The session follows an extensive profile of Survitec in the CBI’s Business Voice publication based on an interview with Chief Executive Brian Stringer back in September 2017.

The CBI has more than 50 years of experience in helping British businesses grow and plan ahead and speaks on behalf of 190,000 businesses of different sizes across various sectors. It has 13 offices around the UK as well as representation in Brussels, Washington, Beijing and Delhi.

It aims to help businesses create a more prosperous society by representing the views of its members to policymakers and government.

Brian Stringer, Chief Executive of Survitec, said: “We have a wealth of expertise and experience within our business, but it is also important to build strong external networks and heed the guidance and advice of individuals and groups who have been through the same journey that we are going on. We value our membership of the CBI, the support it gives Survitec and the representation it gives us among influential stakeholders. As we grow and change, it will be a trusted source of insight for the business.”

Carolyn Fairbairn, Director-General of the CBI, added: “Survitec’s story is a compelling one and, as our Business Voice article established, it’s not often a company doesn’t want you to have to use its products. Despite protecting thousands of lives every day, it’s been something of a hidden success story and part of the CBI’s role is representing its members’ causes to a wider audience, something we are excited to do when it comes to Survitec. We are well versed in helping businesses grow, ensuring they are prepared for the changes expansion can bring and offering them all the insight and intelligence they need to make the right decisions.”
