Survitec’s Walk to Work (W2W) Survikit bag has received a special commendation certificate after narrowly missing out on 1st place in the Safety Award category at the annual Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) awards.
The LiftEx awards dinner took place on the 14th November 2018 and consisted of 8 award categories with each category awarded a winner and additionally a special commendation certificate for second place. LEEA award categories are open to the 700+ member companies and each category shortlisted by the LEEA board representatives. The W2W SurviKit Bag was nominated under the Safety Awards category which recognised organisations demonstrating products and/or services that provide innovative solutions to reduce risk of injury whilst working with lifting equipment or in high risk environments such as working at height. Considerations included; products or services that improves risk management, anticipates and addresses health and safety challenges and promotes the benefits of a positive health and safety culture.
Jonathan Peden, UK Industrial Operations Manager at Survitec, was extremely proud to accept the special commendation certificate on behalf of Survitec.

The W2W SurviKit Bag is composed of industry standard safety equipment including a harness, arrest and restraint lanyards, ladder climb systems, climbing helmet and accessories all from recognised, market leading brands. It also includes Survitec’s own Tri-Approved Gen2 Passenger Suit and 3D lifejacket (complete with the AU10 PLB), both of which are designed specifically for the offshore market.
