Public spaces
The low pressure of the XFLOW water mist system is optimal for public spaces as it uses small pipes that leave space for other installations in the ceiling. The XFLOW water mist system utilizes small pipe dimensions which require less water to extinguish fires resulting in less water damage compared to conventional sprinkler systems. The system requires small water consumption and can therefore be connected to a public water supply often eliminating the need for a water pressure tank compared to traditional sprinkler systems. The XFLOW water mist system operates exceptionally in open spaces such as shopping centres due to large nozzle capacity versus area of coverage supported by the system. This in turn results in fewer required nozzles than traditional systems.
Office Buildings
The low pressure of the XFLOW water mist system is optimal for office buildings as it uses small pipes that leave space for other installation in ceilings.
Schools & Universities
Schools and other educational buildings are often at risk of catching fires and the result can be fatal due the dense population that may not very well know the building and the escape ways. Also the risk of arson is present and the cost of relocating the education and repair can often many times exceed the cost of a water mist fire protection system. An XFLOW water mist system is often a very effective and cost-effective solution to the problem.
Hospitals
The low pressure of the XFLOW water mist system is the perfect solution for hospitals because it can be connected to a public water supply using a smaller water pressure tank compared to traditional sprinkler systems.
Care Homes
The XFLOW water mist system is optimal for use in nursing homes as its small pipe size requires less water to extinguish fires resulting in less water damage compared to conventional sprinkler systems.
Heritage
Valuable buildings or artefacts are often left unprotected even they are impossible to replace. Therefore growing interests are shown to use a water mist solution to protect the often highly valued items.
Shopping centres
The XFLOW water mist system operates exceptionally in open spaces such as shopping centres due to large nozzle capacity versus area of coverage supported by the system. This in turn results in fewer required nozzles than traditional systems.
Industrial applications
XFLOW is often very suitable for numerous industrial applications. It offers all the benefits of water mist with very effective fire suppression and low water consumption, and in contrast to many other water mist systems XFLOW obtains these impressive performance characteristics with a very low power requirement or with a small self-contained unit.
Local Protection
Local protection of essential and high value machinery and equipment is a growing market for XFLOW because owners want to reduce the risk of operational interruptions and/or to protect the value of the equipment. XFLOW is often the preferred choice because of the high efficiency, low water consumption and the flexibility of the solution.
Tunnel
Protecting life and infrastructure is paramount for tunnel managers and owners. XFLOW offers an effective solution with low power consumption at a very competitive price.
Atria
The specially designed XFLOW solution to protect atria is often a must in those buildings where areas with high ceilings are a part of the architectural solution.
Transformer Protection
Transformer overheating can result in very dangerous fires and even explosions. The way to prevent overheating and fires is to install XFLOW combined with a monitoring system that enables detection, efficient cooling down, and fire extinguishing.
Data Centres And IT Rooms
Due to the risk in gaseous systems of losing the fire fighting gas due to improperly closed ventilation or open doors, XFLOW has become an attractive solution for the protection of data centers and server rooms. The system is cost effective and totally harmless to people. The system can be delivered as a pump system or a self-contained system.
Total Protection
XFLOW systems are very suitable for protection of small power plants, diesel driven emergency power plants etc.
Restaurant & kitchen systems
- The K-5 galley system is designed to distribute wet chemical fire suppressant through a single nozzle located directly above a deep fat fryer. The system protects fryers with a maximum pan dimension of 564 x 500 x 340mm and has been tested in accordance with the requirements of International Standard ISO 15371:2000(E)The K-5 system is a fully independent system, they are electrically actuated and use spot heat detectors to detect fire conditions. The detectors are placed directly over the appliance being protected or in the extract air flow above that appliance. The cooking appliances can be individually protected or multiple systems can be configured to suit the demands of any Galley.
- XFlow, pure water mist protection of deep fat fryers and ducts in accordance with ISO15371:2000.
