Survitec are exhibiting at the Singapore Airshow on the 11-16th of February. The staple APAC exhibition will see Survitec showcase a range of Pilot Flight Equipment (PFE) for both fast jet and rotary wing platforms and liferafts suitable for single and multiple occupancies.
The PC-21 ensemble is composed of the Mk40 flight jacket, including an inflatable stole and blast proof pouch while providing comfort and ease of manoeuvrability, and the Mk10 Skeletal Anti-G Trousers. When combined together, the ensemble is completely flame retardant and is designed to maximise protection and optimise pilot performance.
A rotary wing mannequin will be donned in the Armoured Life Preserver Unit for combat helicopters designed for warm climates including jungle, rangeland and desert environments. It consists of a customisable waistcoat that facilitates bespoke pocket configuration to suit individual preference and includes mission critical equipment such as short-term air supply system (STASS), weapons, ammunition, survival aids and beacons. It boats front/rear soft and hard armour and has an optional low profile inflatable stole with multiple buoyancy variants.
In addition to these two products, Survitec will also be displaying the Heliraft liferaft. The Heliraft is a canopied raft suitable for all military aircraft types. It’s manufactured from polyurethane proofed nylon fabric and combines high survivability with low weight and packed volume benefits. The Heliraft has accumulated over two decades of in-service experience for both commercial and military applications and remains the benchmark standard against which modern aviation survival equipment is measured.
Occurring alongside the Singapore Airshow within the Changi Exhibition Centre is the Singapore Aerospace Technology and Engineering Conference (SATEC). Richard Mears, Head of Global Defence and Aerospace Sales at Survitec, will be speaking at the conference to give an insight into how Survitec sets the global standard for innovative and highly engineered safety and survival equipment.
