James joined Survitec in October 2018. He was previously the CEO of Berendsen PLC, a UK listed textile rental and logistics business. Prior to Berendsen, he was the CEO of private equity owned Avincis and Invensys Rail. Earlier in his career, he worked in strategy and business development roles for Kidde PLC and Honeywell. James moved to the role of Chairman on 1st November 2019.
Ray joined Survitec as CFO in January 2019. Having previously held CFO positions at Digicel, Unit4 and BT and an Operating Partner at the Gores Technology Group, he has gained extensive experience in private equity and various industries including Telecoms in both B2C and B2B, Field Engineering, Enterprise Software and Professional Services. With a proven track record of working successfully with multi-national management teams to drive and deliver top line growth and improve profit margins and cash flow, Ray has also worked on a number of acquisitions, disposals and the overseeing of post-merger integrations. Ray has a Bachelor of Commerce and Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting from the University of Cape Town and is a South Africa Chartered Accountant.
Jonathan has been a member of the Survitec board since 2019. He is a Managing Director at Onex, where he manages European origination efforts in the Industrial, Aerospace, Transportation and Logistics sectors for Onex’s large cap fund, Onex Partners. Prior to joining Onex in 2011, Jonathan worked at The Boston Consulting Group in Zurich, Switzerland. He holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.
Bjoerge Grimholt has been President & CEO of Wilhelmsen Ships Service since 2011. He has held a number of leadership positions in different parts of the Wilh. Wilhelmsen Holding group since 2003. Prior to joining Wilhelmsen, Grimholt spent 7 years as manager and co-owner of a professional round-the-world yacht racing team. Grimholt was educated at the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration.
